JAZZ ENSEMBLE - will be offered to advanced high school, college and adult performers of jazz music. Literature is selected from the Big Band Swing Era to the present day. This class is designed to advance the player's understanding and appreciation of jazz performance and give each member opportunity to explore jazz improvisation. Acceptance into the Jazz Ensemble will be based on audition and the discretion of the director. Rehearsals are Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. in the Presser Hall Band Hall.
