CONCERT GIRLS CHOIR
Girls - Age 10-13
Monday - 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Amber Wilson Brown - Director
Amber Brown graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Bachelor in Music Education. As a student at UMHB she worked in the Conservatory Theory Lab and assisted Deborah Jones with the Conservatory Choirs. Mrs. Brown was a member of the UMHB Concert Choir, UMHB Chamber Singers, and was the student director of UMHB's production Broadway Spectacular. Her teaching experience is in Elementary and Middle School. Currently, she teaches for Killeen ISD and teaches with Deborah Carney, Director of the Concert Boys Choir. Mrs. Brown is a member of Texas Music Educators Association and Texas Choral Directors Association. Mrs. Brown and her husband live in Temple and she is excited to become part of the UMHB Conservatory Choirs Program legacy.
Ten-year-old girls will only be considered for this choir if they have spent at least one semester in Preparatory Choir or with permission from the director. Once a girl has contacted the Conservatory Office, Mrs. Brown will set up an audition/interview.
